No. Selva doesn't ask for your email, phone number, or any personal information. You download it and start using it immediately. No sign-up, no login, no verification.

All your habits, impulse logs, notes, and history are stored locally on your phone. We never see this data.

If you use the Circle feature to share progress with friends, a summary of your habits and impulses is uploaded to our server in the UK so your friends can see what you've chosen to share. No data leaves your phone until you activate Circle. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Because your data is stored on your device, uninstalling the app will permanently delete all your local data - habits, logs, streaks, and history. This cannot be recovered.

If you had Circle activated, your server-side data (share code, connections, shared snapshots) will remain on our server until it's automatically cleaned up after 365 days of inactivity. You can also email us to request immediate deletion.

When you feel an urge, tap the impulse tile. A 45-second timer starts. During this pause, most cravings will peak and begin to fade naturally. Research shows the majority of urges subside within 90 seconds.

After the timer ends, you log whether you resisted or gave in. Over time, your resistance rate climbs and the urges themselves become less frequent.

Circle is Selva's optional social feature. You can connect with up to 10 friends by exchanging share codes. You choose exactly which habits and impulses each friend can see - on a per-friend basis.

Friends can see your today's progress and send you emoji reactions for encouragement. They can never see your full history, notes, spending data, or anything you haven't explicitly enabled.

Yes, at any time. Subscriptions are managed through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account settings - not through Selva directly.

On iPhone: Settings > your name > Subscriptions > Selva Pro > Cancel.

On Android: Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > Selva Pro > Cancel.

After cancelling, you'll keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period. Your data is never deleted - your extra habits and impulses simply become locked until you resubscribe.

You can also use the feedback button inside the app (Settings > Send Feedback) which automatically includes your device info.

Yes. Under UK GDPR you have the right to erasure. Most of your data is on your device and can be deleted by you directly (delete items in the app, or uninstall).

For any server-side data (Circle connections, shared snapshots, anonymous analytics), email selvaapp.io@gmail.com and we'll delete it within 30 days.
